Welcome to the Pony Pals Program at Lil' Bit of Life, where we cater to horse-crazy kids seeking an introduction to horsemanship and a chance to continue their pursuit of this passion.

Our program offers 1 1/2 hours of hands-on experience, giving participants a real taste of what it's like to care for and bond with a horse. Activities include feeding, stall cleaning, water bucket filling, learning about tack and its care, proper grooming, and tacking up the horse. Safety, communication, horsemanship, and learning through interactive games and riding lessons are central to our focus. We believe in learning by doing, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of horse care and riding.

Moreover, Pony Pals provides an excellent opportunity for children to interact with others who share the same passion. Team-building exercises foster new friendships and encourage a sense of camaraderie among participants.

Our equine companions have a lot to teach, often imparting valuable life skills without the kids even realizing it. Horses inspire critical thinking, inner strength, patience, and the courage to embrace new challenges. As your child progresses and seeks further development, they can explore additional opportunities with Lil' Bit of Life, such as Horse'n Around Camps and private horseback riding lessons. We also have exceptional coaches we can recommend to further support your child's growth.

Please note that our home and the animals thrive in a relaxed environment. For the safety of both the animals and your children, we have established certain rules. During the program, parents or guardians are not allowed in the riding area but are welcome to wait in the back area near the picnic tables. We've found that distractions can pose safety issues, so we kindly request your cooperation in adhering to this policy.
