Traveling Zoo

Miniature horses are like potato chips – you cannot have just one. After bringing home several, my husband asked, “Now what are you going to do with them?”

As the 4-H Leader for G.R.I.T.S. since 2009, my focus has always been on improving the lives of our youth, teaching them compassion, and emphasizing the importance of giving back to our communities. That's when the idea struck me – why not take our Lil' Bit of Life mini favorites on the road and create a traveling zoo to bring joy to various groups in need? Witnessing the smiles on the faces of attendees and hearing their inspiring stories convinced me that we had to continue offering this special service.

Our traveling zoo visits assisted living facilities, schools, daycares – basically, anywhere we are needed. So, who is part of this "we"? Our traveling zoo includes miniature horses, bunnies, goats, sheep, ducks, and mini pigs! We can customize the Traveling Zoo to meet your specific needs. Whether you want more animals or more time, let us take care of all the work. We'll set up our corrals and bring our animals to you, so you can enjoy the smiles and create lasting memories with these wonderful creatures.
